We would like to welcome you in Dwór Szwałk situated in the forest of Puszcza Borecka. It is one of the last and untouched places of an East side of the Masurian Lake District. It isn't a very well known place to many foreigners. The house is situated in a picturesque old Park with the lake side view - Szwałk Mały.
The history of Szwałk is reaching XVIII century. It was a property of Prince of Prussia, who used it as his hunting lodge. The wooden house was built then but burnt to the ground in XIX century.
Dwór Szwałk is situated in the Masurian Lake District area, not known to many people from outside of Poland. It is close to the Russian border, in the beautiful old forest - Puszcza Borecka. The house is situated on a small hill with a view on the Szwałk Mały Lake.
Our guests have a wide range of bedrooms to choose from. There is a large wood log fire place in the living room and a huge outdoor terrace with the Park and lake side view. The house can accommodate 23 people. There is a large dining room, kitchen and a 'Hunting Room' (lounge with an open fire place).
